I am passionate about helping others improve their physical, mental, and emotional health. If you're tired of feeling unwell, fatigued, sluggish, anxious or depressed and you're ready to commit to a different approach, we might be a good fit.
Ayurveda shepherds you back to a deep connection with nature and her rhythms (circadian, seasonal, even life phases). Discovering your native constitution (Dosha) teaches you what foods, exercise, meditation, etc will bring balance, and how everything shifts with the seasons.
Celtic traditions and mythology also bring a heartfelt connection with nature. By observing the traditional Celtic celebrations and the folklore behind them, we learn more about how nature and humanity are interdependent, bringing a sense of belonging and harmony with our environment.
Forest bathing, Yoga, and Meditation all strengthen our inner and outer awareness, with all three being forms of mindfulness practice.
Integrating these seemingly different approaches give us great synergy - they combine to bring profound connection to ourselves and how the influences of the natural world shape our day to day experiences. Through this connection you begin to notice that what's happening outside influences what's happening in your body, mind, and spirit. As you align with nature's rhythms, you'll find a sense of home within yourself, deepening your self-awareness and learning to trust your instincts.
There are so many ways to work with me - one on one private sessions, group classes, courses, Ayurvedic seasonal cleanses, forest bathing walks, yoga classes - it can be as private or sociable as you're comfortable with.
One caveat - you have to be committed to real change for this to work. Half-assing it won't get you a more grounded nervous system that can take on whatever life throws at you, a healthy body, better sleep, and energy for days. You must be willing to move away from what isn't working and embrace the idea that something new may give you better results. (You'll probably also need a sense of humor and not mind a little swearing once in a while.)
A good relationship is clear from the start, and I won't push for a relationship that won't work out. And if we're not a fit, I'm happy to give you referrals to other providers that might be a better match for you. You've got nothing to lose, and everything to gain.
