Summer Restorative Forest Yoga

Autumn Equinox Forest Bath

Sunday, September 21st, 12pm

Lee Martinez Park, Fort Collins


Join me for some mindfulness in an urban forest.


I'll combine the magic of being surrounded by tall trees with gentle mindfulness prompts to encourage you to reconnect with the wild world around you and your inner wisdom. We'll slow down, release worry and stress, and maybe find that place where your mind stops making so much noise.


After, we'll circle up in community and discuss our experiences over a cup of tea. We'll also talk about ways to honor and celebrate the Autumn Equinox (called Mabon in the Celtic wheel of the year).

Gentle Fall Ayurvedic Cleanse

Thursday October 2nd - Sunday October 12th 2025


I've been leading these cleanses twice yearly for over five years (and cleansing on my own for years before that) - it's become one of my favorite parts of my work. If you've not done a cleanse with me before, here's some info: 


Why Do We Cleanse?


  • Healthier digestion & elimination
  • Improved immune function heading into Fall
  • Better response to stress, increased relaxation, and deeper sleep
  • Decreased brain fog, less sluggishness, and more balanced energy


Your body and mind love an occasional reset, ideally twice each year in autumn and spring. 


Cleansing in the fall helps us balance Vata dosha, preparing for the upcoming cold and dryness of fall & winter. It also clears any residual Pitta heat lingering from the summer, which may show up as inflammation, irritability, and skin issues. A fall cleanse focuses on deep nourishment and rejuvenation after  releasing ama (accumulated metabolic waste) from your cells and digestive tract. 


We'll have 3 days of easing in and preparing (choosing recipes, buying groceries), 5 days of very gentle cleansing, and 3 days of easing out and shifting focus to rejuvenation. And I'll be cleansing right along with you.


If you haven't done an Ayurvedic cleanse with me before, it's important to know that my cleanses are very gentle. It's not a harsh "detox". We use whole foods, simple Ayurvedic herbal blends in tablet form, and probiotics to help support healthy digestion and elimination - no fasting, shakes, meal replacement bars, or anything artificial..


I provide LOTS of support -  my ebook has detailed instructions and easy recipes, you'll receive daily emails, and there are plenty of online group meetups for questions and to help guide you through your cleanse successfully. You can always reply to my daily emails for private support if needed.

FIELD TRIP - SUMMER FOREST BATH

Saturday, July 19th, 11am

Near Cameron Pass 


Nature is magical.

Do you remember being a child, spending your summer days outside? Fascinated with the trees, the grass, the plants, the dirt, even the bugs.


On this field trip, I'll  guide you along a beautiful forest trail up near Cameron Pass. This is not a hike, it's more of a walking meditation. I'll combine the magic of being immersed in the forest with gentle Mindfulness prompts to encourage you to reconnect with the wild world around you and your inner wisdom. You'll slow down, and find that place where your mind stops making so much noise.


After, we'll circle up and discuss our experiences over a cup of tea. We'll also talk about celebrating the upcoming Celtic festival of Lughnasadh, and how both Ayurvedic and Celtic wisdom can further deepen your connection with nature.

LEARN HOW TO GROW SPROUTS

Tuesday, April 22nd (Earth Day!)  6:15pm

In springtime, we often notice sluggishness, lack of motivation, excess mucus, heaviness in the mind and body, and excessive sleepiness. These are all signs of excess Kapha energy in your mind and body, according to Ayurveda.

Adding fresh sprouts to your meals bring a sense of lightness, deep nourishment, and a subtle crunch that helps to clear stagnant Kapha energy out of your system.

In this class, you'll learn why we crave sprouts and spring greens this time of year, and I'll  show you how to grow sprouts at home on your windowsill. You’ll leave with a covered glass container full of germinating sprouts, along with a stash of extra seeds for your next few round of sprouts!
